Its a first!

Just had my first spam comment. Incorrect spelling aside, it recommended a reception venue in Perth on a blog post about my already finished wedding day. Nice one 'James Franklin'. Off to change comment settings.

    Congrats on your first spam comment! In the beginning it's amusing and after a while it gets really irritating. This morning there were 782 spam comments on my blog. GGRRRR!

    Do you have moderated comments? I am starting to think it would be easier just to check & delete. Rather than having to approve comments.

    Yeah I think it's more trouble having to approve every comment... At first I did like that - check & delete but when I started getting 200, 500, 1000 and then 2000 spam comments a day I had to find an alternative. I found an application that gets rid of spam automatically so I no longer have to worry about it.
